somewhat unexpected

            WEDNESDAY 10/30/19 11:15 AM--I caught a cold...I think Dianne still has hers, so I dunno how I caught this one...I've got Vitamin C gummies and chicken noodle soup...I'm a bit worried about going to practice tonight and (a bit less) the gigs with Stu...I gotta take a shower before I leave for Mike's...after which I hope to put on a pair of compression socks...
                   THURSDAY 10/31/19 3:30 AM--wearing the white compression socks, no plans to take 'em off anytime soon...don't know if they're actually working...
  8:48 AM--just waiting for the girls to get here, do the cleaning and leave...I've already been to the grocery store...
FRIDAY--11/1/19 5:50 AM--they arrived at about 11:30...I went to the Library; they were gone when I got back--at 12:30...Some guys are coming sometime today (between 1 and 5) to install the counter tops...I have no idea how long they'll be here or exactly when they'll get here...*I* don't think it should take more than an hour...But I bet it will...I hope they'll show up at one o'clock and be gone by 2:30 at the latest...then I can (hopefully) catch a few winks...OR--maybe they'll show up at three o'clock and be gone by the time Dianne gets home, at about 4:30 or so...
   12:42 PM--Dianne got the job!!! Now she can leave the place that's making her miserable...there is a bit of a pay cut, but I dunno how much...so she'll be pinching pennies a bit now too...
2:30 PM- the guys are here installing the counter tops and the sink...they might be gone by 3:30 or so...somebody else is coming on Monday to work on the plumbing...THEN (I think) the Project will be finished...
SATURDAY 11/2/19 12:27 AM--later this afternoon, I will begin bringing Dianne's Kitchen stuff back upstairs...a bit of a Gov't Project perhaps, but I've nothing else to do...I hope to have the rest of Saturday to recover from having two gigs in two days...I think we're having Sunday Brunch w/Alvijan...I should be OK by then...I think maybe I've possibly gotten over my cold...
    8 PM--I'm still a teeny bit under the weather--and there's an FHB practice scheduled for tomorrow...I won't be going to brunch w/Dianne and her parents...I might need to go to the grocery store in the morning to get (if nothing else) Sunday's Dinner...
9:56 PM--have no idea when I'm going to bed--I think we set the clocks BACK an hour...which may mean that when my body wakes up at 5 or 6 it will really only be 4 or 5 AM...
