baby steps from an old geezer

MONDAY 2/17/2020 10:02 AM--I've done some work in the basement...I'm done for the day...I did a teeny tiny bit in the kitchen too...still gotta put away the clean dishes and go to Safeway to get hot dogs and rolls for tonight's Dinner...but Lunch and a nap come first...
4:36 PM--a gentleman offered to help me find my car in the Kentlands Giant parking lot...ultimately, I found it myself, but still...very VERY VERY VERY depressing...
TUESDAY 2/18/2020 9:04 AM--the impatience thing has gotten worse...I DO need to put new strings on BOTH guitars, but I don't need to do them both today...I could do one or both of them tomorrow...the rags are done already...
9:55 AM--in less than in hour, I've put new strings on eBay...I might TRY to put new strings on Butterscotch this afternoon; the longer they're on the guitar, the more "broken in" they may be...
4:03 PM--my dirty jeans have been washed and they're in the dryer, until about 5 PM...Dianne won't be home until after her after-work appointment, around 8:30...she'll be beyond exhausted...
6:40 PM--I WAS gonna buy a short (manageable) orange extension cord...I don't think I need to, because I found one...but I DO need to get a dependable power strip...I see a trip to Lowe's on my "to do" list for Wednesday...and I need a set of strings for Butterscotch...*I* think it makes more sense to go to Pritchard's in the Kentlands and spend $6 on guitar strings than to go to Litz and use some of my $55 dollars in store credit...surely, going to Pritchard's would be quicker--there's that impatience thing again...
7:05 PM--I AM reluctant to spend $40 on a power strip, but I know of no other way to solve my problem...
10:33 PM--Sometimes (today) I've been mixed up about what day it is...the cleaning ladies are NOT coming tomorrow--because tomorrow is Wednesday...among my plans for tomorrow is doing laundry...
