a good couple of days

       WEDNESDAY 2/19/2020 3:52 PM--there's still a fair amount of work to do before the girls get here tomorrow, but I'm not concerned yet...Because today was payday, and because I have the time, I'll likely go to Wendy's for Dinner...
5:54 PM--I went to Wendy's...maybe this evening, but more likely tomorrow morning, I'll straighten up around here...
7:45 PM--the girls will allegedly be here in about 13 hours...we'll see...after that? who knows? *I* don't...
9:07 PM--slowly getting sleepy...I changed blankets on my bed, can hardly wait to get under the new one...
THURSDAY 2/20/2020 10:05 AM-the girls arrived about twenty minutes ago...so after a visit to McDonald’s I’m at the Library, for the next half hour or so...
10:47 AM--back home...I must have something to do today, but I don't know what it is...I suppose I could/should practice the songs for tomorrow night's gig...probably after my midday nap..."the lab work" will happen tomorrow, hopefully...It's weird how happy I feel after the girls have gone...a load off my Mind...
SATURDAY 2/22/2020 9:18 AM--last night's gig went pretty well in terms of audience response, but I wonder if Vera paid me too much--ooops, I forgot Butch finished paying for the wireless ($50) unit...that's why I've got $120 more pocket now than when I left the house...it would be nice to be able to leave my checking account alone for a few days...we'll see...
6:56 PM--went to Roy Rogers in Germantown for dinner and dessert...should be in bed by 11, unless the 10PM episode of STAR TREK is unappealing to me...seconds later--I'll record ST-TOS and go to bed at 10 o'clock...UPDATE--it was more like 10:30
