tech surprises

         FRIDAY 2/15/19 9:16AM--it's my fault that I bought an Amazon tablet...I couldn't afford an iPad...and of course I was anxious to have any kind of tablet...so I bought one from Amazon...it uses Android software(?) hardware (?) or whatever ya call it...therefore it will likely never have an intimate relationship with my iPhone...oh well...I had a major tummy problem overnight last night, which hasn't quite gone away yet...I can only assume that it will, hopefully sometime today...
      2:13PM-- I'm a big fan of the "speech to text" concept...of the three devices I have, only the iPhone has it...so I might be using Google Docs on my phone quite a bit more often...although, judging from the research I just did, Windows 10 (the laptop) can be configured for it--I will need some kinda microphone though...It seems easier to me to just use Google Docs...
     5PM--I've already forgotten exactly what I did and how, but I started a document on one device and finished it on another--and then sent it to my tablet...and  I now have a choice to use (on the phone) either Google Docs or Microsoft Word...I don't think the two MS Word programs (phone and laptop) are connected in any way...at least not yet...I think any docs I create with Google Docs can be saved as Word docs...
    5:45PM--I think it's a Gov't Project to set up speech to text on the laptop, so I'm gonna skip it...
PM- I’m still not 100% sure but I think as far as the phone goes,  the Google Docs app will be easier for me to use than Microsoft Word…
9:16PM--and I'm playing with Google Keep on the laptop...I'll probably not use it too much, until I figure out HOW to use it...
SATURDAY 2/16/19 9:10AM--no plans for today, I don't think my digestive system is back to normal yet...and I ran outta Vyvance...that's where my energy has come from lately...
11:00 AM-- Messing around with the tablet… I bought a book, by Neil Degrasse Tyson… It’s supposed to be a book for the common man, but I don’t understand it yet… I intend to keep it, mostly because it was free, but I'm not sure I'll ever understand it... I guess I’m going to be using my phone more often because of the whole speech to text concept...
5:26PM--well, it took almost 30 minutes, but I changed the water filter in the fridge...I guess that will be the only thing I'll have done today...and that's OK, I think...
