Not fun anymore

 

        SATURDAY 7/10/21 7:30AM-I’m really glad the housesitting thing is coming to an end...at least I think it is--Mike and Linda are moving to Florida in November, and it's only July...I'm not exactly having fun; none of the TVs work the way I think they’re supposed to… I recorded a movie and I can’t watch it – I don’t know why… I recorded three episodes of friends; I THINK I can watch those, but again, I don’t know why…
          In Automotive news, my brake light is on, and it’s not the fluid level that’s the problem…great…actually it comes and goes a bit...I choose to be a teeny bit optimistic about that...
       Dianne and I have plans (I think) for later, after the woman shows up to measure the windows for the new blinds that Dianne wants/needs to get...I need to be back in Rockville by five o'clock to feed the cat...
         I doubt if I'll be going out tonight, but who knows? The Crimestoppers (with Stoney on keys) are at the Rockville Elks Lodge, for $5 bucks...if there's something good on TV, I'll stay home...but, some might say, that means Stoney has the power to keep me from going to see the band if I REALLY wanted to...Seriously considering going, if for no other reason than he probably thinks I WON'T...

5:26PM-by the time I get back from the Elks Lodge, there won’t be anything good on TV… I guess I’ll be stuck watching the weather channel; planning on leaving in about 20 minutes…

6:15PM-I didn’t count on the gig being outside, but it is… I don’t know how long I’m going to stay– I expect to be gone before sundown… The soda is IMO expensive, so I need to make this one last a while…

I said hello to Stoney, he was a bit chilly IMO…Craig knows I’m here…ICPIB I’m absolutely ok with being invisible…in fact, I’m loving it…

Not sure why, but the band has TWO guitarists…

7:17PM-don’t know how long I’m going to stay, my presence here is still somewhat of a secret and I am still OK with that…I guess I will be home in time to watch Star Trek at 10 o’clock… I couldn’t record it, but that’s OK too…Dunno what I’m gonna watch after that…
