SATURDAY 7/3/21 8:17AM-so here we are at the Germantown flea market… It’s not as big as it has been, but it’s still early yet… I haven’t seen Craig yet, that doesn’t mean he isn’t here… I’ll just keep looking for the hat; Maybe some vendors are saving themselves for the Fairgrounds flea market…
In any case, I’ll be OK if I don’t buy anything – I have $42 in my pocket… and $120 Ocean City dollars waiting for me at home…speaking of Ocean City, I’m a little concerned about how much walking we’re gonna do when we’re there…but there are benches all up and down the boardwalk, so I’m not TOO worried…
Shortly, will be dropping Dianne's car off at the Dealer's to get some maintanence done, then (in MY car) we're going to Unique...I hope to come home with a pair of cargo shorts and a book to read at the Beach...
LATER--so I bought BORN TO RUN, Bruce’s auto biography…IF I donated my copy, this could be it…but at least I'll have a book to read...
9:09PM--excited/nervous about preparing for the trip...then of course there's the trip itself...being on the road for a long time w/o easy access to a rest room worries me...
10:42PM--If I don't spend any money on Sunday, I will be going to OC with $160 dollars--surely that's enough for four days...
SUNDAY 7/4/21 11:13AM--I've started pack for the trip to OC...I'm not EVEN gonna think about packing for the house sitting gig yet...I don't think I have to do any Laundry for either circumstance...
6:06PM--slowly but surely still packing for OC...don't expect to get much sleep tonight...I might be doing most of the driving...
MONDAY 7/5/21 7:40AM--just about completely packed for the OC trip...Dunno when we're leaving, and first we have to drop the dog off at Best Friends, which, I think opened at 7AM...
the new TV remote features Voice Command--now turning Closed Captioning ON is especially easy...as opposed to going thru the Menu--lotsa button pushing involved, and I'M still getting used to the new buttons...I keep making mistakes...
