WEDNESDAY 6/30/21 8:45AM--to my considerable surprise, the SSA money came in...I thought/hoped it would come early, but I didn't think it would come this early...
So far, the biggest "problem" I've got is how to kill time while the cleaning ladies do their thing...I usually go to Litz Music...but their sidewalk sale is in progress...who know what I might see there...
4:42PM--came home with a SIX-string neck to attach to the homemade Strat that, until now has been a 12-string...it fits, but will need more than minor adjustment in order to play properly...Maybe with NEXT month's SSA check...
Linda said she'd pay me $120 to do the house sitting gig...I'll take $120 in cash to OC, and IF I spend it all, I'll have $120 to come home to, meaning I'll break even...
I think Dianne really REALLY needs a vacation, she's been more than a little uptight or angry or something for a few days now...somehow (I have no idea how) *I* have managed to keep my cool...dunno how long I can keep that up...probably not much longer...a few more minutes...Considering how much money I think Dianne makes every week she should have paid someone from Verizon to come and hook all the stuff up…but she’s stubborn and pennypinching…
9:03PM--I was thinking I had an appointment with Dr. Gendal tomorrow, then suddenly I started having doubts--I dunno why...I'm gonna take a chance and go...afterwards I MIGHT be having Lunch with Lou...
THURSDAY 7/1/21 10:22AM--So I went to the Doctor's office...the appointment WAS scheduled for the 8th, not the 1st...But the 8th is NOT a good day for me, so I changed it to the 9th of July--sheesh...at least I had the prescence of mind to do THAT...we'll be coming back from OC on the 8th and then I have to go right to Linda's to start the housesitting......
I THOUGHT that Dianne was done wrestling with Verizon...apparently she is not quite...the living room TV is A-OK, as far as *I* can tell, but the other three TVs need to be "rebooted" and/or whatever...it's obviously HER Project, not OUR Project...and that's OK by me...
1:09PM--Had Lunch with Lou, and we hung out a bit...then I ran into Gail, and we chatted a bit...naptime is about 20 minutes away, hopefully time enough to digest the aforementioned Lunch...
