TUESDAY 6/15/21 7:52AM--after I got home from Ray's show, I did some snackin', watched TV for awhile and, at Midnight, went to bed...altogether I think I got about two hours sleep...not because I ate sugar--although I did...mostly I was obscessed with the idea that the cleaning ladies were coming and I had lotsa cleaning up to do before they come to clean...they come on Wednesdays--today is TUESDAY...all that anxiety wasted...
12:05PM--on the other hand I spent TWO HOURS and then some at the Doctor's office...Left them a blood sample, had a sonogram, took a battery of psych questions...I NEED to take some kinda nap...
The sonographer had an attractive assistant, even though she wore a mask...
11PM--just got home from the sit-in with Ray...my rearview miirror broke off its' mounting...now it's just hanging in mid-air...I was tired and hungry but pretty dammed happy coming home from Pasadena...now I'm just tired...and worried...
11:45PM--it turns out that mirrors falling off of the windshield is a common problem...all I gotta do is get the right glue and glue it back on, hopefully...
WEDNESDAY 6/16/21 9AM--OR pay the guy across the street about $40 bucks to do it...it's worth that much to me to avoid the stress of trying to do it myself...gonna drop it off first thing tomorrow morning...
6:22PM--when the cleaning ladies arrived, at about 1PM, I left the house to get outta their way...I was on my way to Litz Music to kill time when I spontaneously decided to go to the MVA and see if maybe I could solve my EZPass problem...my account with them was overdrawn and the credit/debit card they wanted to use to replenish it was no longer valid...the processes (I had a choice of methods) for correcting that situation were not acceptible to me--I could go online and open an (online) account--yuck! Or I could make a phone and talk on the phone to a machine--also yuck!
So I went in--WITHOUT an appointment...I told the guy who had the appointment list I just wanted to take care of some EZPass business...the actual guard directed me to the EZPass office and the guy behind the window actually just went ahead and FIXED my problem, bypassing the normal channels...I was (until about five minutes ago) deliriously happy--until I spilled my dinner--the dinner I've been looking forward to all f**king day long...The Universe doesn't want me to be deliriuosly happy for too long I guess...I managed to save the food, but not the plate...
