THURSDAY 4/15 6:05PM--we went to MyEyeDr.--my new glasses should be ready in about ten days or so...and the subject of money/cost never came up...I think they agreed that the frames didn't really fit me properly...Much to my surprise, I lost the bet with Dianne--I was absolutely sure they were gonna say 'There's nothing we can do about your defective frames..." So *I* bought Wendy's Dinner for the two of us...
The schedule keeps changing, but the Plan at this point is to put the car in the shop on Monday morning...hopefully all they need to do is put freon into the unit...
Tomorrow I get my 2nd COVID shot...a little concerned about finding the vaccination site...and I think I'm getting the book I bought from Amazon--the biography of John Entwistle...kinda excited about it...yep, just got it...can't wait to get into it...might start on it instead of watching Star Trek...
FRIDAY 4/16/21 9:19AM--getting nervous about the vaccination; I'll be glad to get back home...
5:12PM--the 2nd vaccine went quickly enough...I've heard that the side effects are a bit stronger than the 1st shot--guess I'll find out tomorrow...
9PM-for about the past 20 minutes or so I’ve been noodling on my acoustic guitar… It hurts, but they say the only way to get the calluses back is to just keep at it-slowly...as far as I know the LCB reunion is scheduled for May 22; The first chance I could go see Ray probably on my own, with (or without) a guitar, is May 7th, which will mark three weeks since I got the second vaccination-which I got today...I guess I'm gonna have to keep at it, EVERY day, at LEAST once a day...not sure I wanna go to Crofton (?) but who knows?
