shoulda gone to Olney (eventually we did)

 

              SUNDAY 8/16/2020 4:40PM--The roomie and I went to Alexandria VA to explore the Olde Town area...we didn't see all that much; the weather didn't really cooperate...I was napping by about 2PM...I have some stuff going on this coming week that I'd rather NOT think about...that's Life I guess...
              There's a Doctor's visit on Wednesday...and I might have a problem with the "monthly payment" idea implemented by Dr. Snow...UGH... 
       MONDAY 8/17/2020--One strange reason I don't like the masks is that ya can't tell what a woman looks like...Yeah, I know, I'm pathetic, if not a little bit perverted...It doesn't EVEN matter, or does it?
         I semi-announced my Musical retirement on a guy's "wall"...Ray is a friend of his...my post didn't seem to faze anybody...I guess that was too obscure a place to make such an announcement...
      THURSDAY 8/20/2020 11:44AM--I went to the Doctor's yesterday...actually saw Dr. Gendal himself, briefly...He's given me quite a "to do" list...
      SATURDAY 8/22/2020 10AM--there's a "family" zoom meeting coming up later today...I'm joining it, reluctantly and (hopefully) briefly--I don't feel like doing much of anything, at all--except sleeping...
    6:30PM--the zoom meeting was the longest two hours of my Life...I tried to get a bit of a nap afterwards,
but it barely lasted an hour, if that...
    8:35PM--the plan for tomorrow is to go to Olney...I doubt that we'll be back before 1PM...
SUNDAY 8/23/2020 5:40PM--finally made it to the antique store in Olney--it was quite full... then we went to a farmer's market...saw a Musician I know...he recognized me...
            I've been thinking about yesterday's Family Zoom...Currently, and rather suddenly, I've decided that I don't like Dianne's cousin Ross...I know it sounds so 1970s, but I don't get a good vibe from him...I'm not gonna tell her...
                 Sunday evening--I think most of the people I hung out with pre-pandemic would say, if asked, that they don't like me all that much...Dianne thinks I should reach out to Stoney--she shouldn't hold her breath...but it kinda hurts to suspect 1) people lump me and Howard (for example) together...and/or 2) I'm not the Musician I thought I was...
