somebody up there likes me, tonight anyway...

         SATURDAY  10/19/19 12:02 AM--so I went to Hershey's to hear a new band...all the players are acquaintances of mine...they were (IMO) just OK...it sounded strange to me to hear a Woman singing songs that a Man would normally sing...and her voice just doesn't seem strong enough to me to be singing rock&roll...
     Two of my FHB band mates were there--Stoney and Barnaby...I was stunned to find out that Barnaby allegedly feels the same way about Stoney as I do; we both think he needs to be less rigid with regard to how we play Music...A few folks were quite complimentary about my Musical ability...that was a surprise...I don't know what to make of that...
        Lou showed up, another surprise...we're making Plans to go to the Hershey's open mic hosted by Jackie!!! and we are gonna try to rehearse the same day...on top of that, Angela appeared...Of course, that made a mess outta me...
       But the biggest most significant thing to happen to me was thinking that I'd lost my spare car key...it's not easy to start the car with the original key...it turns out the spare key was IN THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR...it's a miracle to me that, beat up though it may be, the car was still in Hershey's parking lot...
        Lately the car engine was starting to develop a knocking sound, fairly quiet though it may have been...so I checked the oil...the engine appeared to have not so much as a drop in it...I remedied that...the noise seems to have stopped...
            I think Dianne and I are going to Unique later today...I have no plans to go out tonight...as far as I know the Combustibles are practicing Sunday at 1:30...other than the ringing in my ears, Life is Good...
