why is this time different?

          SATURDAY 10/13AM- so I set the alarm off again when I got back from McDonald’s… I don’t know why or how exactly... apparently, once you fuck up the code you have to actually wait for the alarm to go off before you can shut it off;   I would say that this time the whole incident took about 30 seconds…
      There’s nothing on TV today except a MASH mini marathon that will get me to noon… at which point I’ll have lunch and read the Mike Love biography that Lou lent me several weeks ago-I had forgotten about it until recently… The plan for now is to have hotdogs for dinner; I will probably go somewhere tonight because there might not be anything on TV; but if there is I’ll stay here and watch it…or not; FOOTLOOSE  is on tonight, but I think I’ll record it and watch it Sunday morning… The April’s DVR is 98% full so I don’t know if I’m going to get FOOTLOOSE recorded at all…
    8PM- change of plans...I’m at the OTWC... I was going to go to Crossroads  but the band that was scheduled to play there (the Digits) canceled...so I finally get to see/hear Gina’s Soul Party...so far, they’re just OK...
SUNDAY 10:30AM- I am here in Rockville waiting for Dianne to arrive so we can go to Unique  and hopefully get me some nice clothes...a nice pair of pants and a nice jacket (and shirt)...I'm not at all sure why, but apparently Dianne‘s parents think that’s good enough-that I don’t need an actual suit to attend Danny’s wedding...I think the line of reasoning went something like this—why spend the money on a suit that you’re only going to wear once…To which I could say “what about Jonathan’s wedding or Debra’s wedding or somebody funeral?”   first I think we’re going to go have brunch someplace then we’re going to Unique and then I’m coming back here to take my midday nap after which I’m going to pack my stuff and go back to Gaithersburg...after feeding the cat one more meal that is...
   1:50PM- I think I have most of the clothing that I’m going to wear in New York at Danny’s wedding and the rehearsal dinner as well…  keep in mind, that I haven’t looked in my own closet yet… But I think I will need to buy a shirt, online or somewhere;  oddly enough, it was my ex in-laws that said “he doesn’t need a suit, he just has to look nice” which is what I’ve been saying for what feels like months now...
           5:45PM--got back to G-burg a little more than an hour ago...took a mini-nap...gonna have Dinner in a little while...
10:53PM--in addition to starting to think about the Gumbo Ya Ya open mic, I must also begin to focus on the Neil Young Tribute on Wednesday...Lou overthinks things sometimes...it must be some kinda OCD thing...I bet he's been losing sleep over it...
