FRIDAY 4/9/21 9:36AM-I’m at the library, getting ready to donate some books… I realize I’m 20 minutes early, but still, someone should be here, shouldn’t they? There’s nobody here but me...
10:20AM--Donated some books...the basement is still a big mess; getting rid of the books didn't change that...
It seemed to take a long time, but Dianne was finally able to sign me up for my second vaccination appointment… I belatedly realized that the whole point of most modern technology is to be able to spy on us... of course, I strongly resent that, but there’s nothing I can do about it… it feels like it’s going to be a really long LONG day…surely I’ll be getting my laptop back today – I’m considering prayer…
4:55PM--I got the laptop back but naturally, I can't change my password because I can't remember the password I wanna change...if The Geek Squad wants to hack in to my laptop, let 'em...I am VERY surprised they didn't try to sell me a new one...they did say "maybe next year", and I should be able to get what I want/need for about $500 bucks...
And I might be able to get my car's air conditioner fixed for about $300 bucks...gonna drop it off across the street next week...
11:41PM--I just found out that Dianne doesn't really like me having the green table to hold my laptop...so I'm gonna try using my actual lap to support it...I guess I can get used to it--although there's not much room on the arm of the chair for the mouse...maybe I can use the cushion itself...that's not so great either...maybe I'll get used to it...
I listened to a youTube video of that Beach Boy tribute band I was in briefly...I made the right decision by leaving...they're still not as good as they could be...maybe they don't hear the mistakes, or maybe they don't care...
