       SUNDAY 9/29/19 9:21PM--I found my Amazon tablet!!!And it's has 92% battery juice!!! I have pretty much forgotten how it works and/or what it does--or can do...but I'm sooo glad I found it...the bad news is that I might have to create new passwords for EVERYTHING--possibly...I was considering getting an iPad, sometimes Verizon packages the iPad with a new iPhone...unless I dreamed that..
 MONDAY 9/30/19 7:09AM--I'm re-learning how to use it, while still considering getting an iPad...if for no other reason because the iPad may have the talk-to-text feature which my Amazon Tablet does NOT have...and I don't trust aftermarket apps, if that's the proper term to use...

TUESDAY 10/1/19 8:41AM--I keep getting scammed by a dog...that's very frustrating...11:10AM--I was getting hungry so I had a slice each of cheese and baloney...Lunch is about 45 minutes away, maybe less...
       Nap time could be as early as 12:30PM...in which case I hope the air conditioner repair guy comes somewhere around 3:30 or so...
12:05PM--playing with the Amazon Photo app on the Tablet...I guess I can do just about anything on the tablet that I can do on the laptop or cell phone..maybe...
1:12PM--so the dog's new trick is leading me to believe she needs to go to the bathroom when she apparently does not...VERY frustrating...as far as the GAC guy is concerned, I'm just gonna live my Life as normally as I can, and take whatever comes at me...

               SATURDAY 9/28/19 3:35 PM--we've slowly but surely started putting the kitchen stuff back in the kitchen...that's as much of a Gov't Project as getting it outta the kitchen was...we went to Jessup and Dianne picked out the counter top...I have no idea when it will be installed...
            I dunno if it's true but I read somewhere that older Apple phones are more susceptible to bugs than newer ones...because of the age of my phone, I'm not eligible for Apple's latest software update...Even though it's not that much younger than my current phone, I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 8...was hoping to go to the Verizon store and do research today, but I don't think that's gonna happen...
 4:40 PM--on the other hand there's no headphone jack--there IS a way to listen to Music but I believe it utilizes Bluettooth technology in some manner...so now I'm on the fence...

back to almost "normal" for awhile

    TUESDAY 9/24/19 8 PM--for reasons to complicated to list here, the kitchen remodeling guys won't be coming around for awhile...until we get the counter tops...hopefully Muzzy and Sophie will get back to THEIR normal routines...me too for that matter...
        WEDNESDAY 9/25/19 9:03 AM--I probably should do laundry, but I don't feel like doing much of anything...
2:47PM--gonna go do laundry and practice the keyboard...still don't officially know if there's practice...
5:02PM--KB practice sucked and (I think) the 4th Thursday band practice is cancelled--first good thing to happen all day IMO...
 8:07PM--suddenly I'm feeling like the next two days are gonna be rather hectic...somebody (or two) is coming to measure for the counter tops on (I think) Friday, between Noon and 3PM...I know nothing about that process, but it shouldn't take more than an hour, right?
FRIDAY 9/27/19 7:34 AM--well, I got MY four hours sleep...I'm just gonna live my Life, do what I wanna do, etc.Because I'm having an early Dinner (4:30 or so) I kinda have to have an early Lunch, probably around 11AM, more or less...should be napping by Noon-ish...kinda hoping the counter top measure guys could come at 3:00 as far as I'm concerned, in fact, that would be perfect...
 12:35 PM--actually, he just left...he was here about 20 minutes or so...nap time (hopefully) starts at 1PM...w/o the Vyvance it might last longer than an hour...

they're still at it...but there's been a mistake

        MONDAY 9/23/19 11:12AM--the kitchen remodeling guys got a late start, but both me and Muzzy are out of their way...dunno how long they'll be here...maybe that doesn't matter, one way or the other...if I wanna take a nap, I'll try to take a nap...tonight's Dinner will likely be hot dogs...nothing else going on to my knowledge...nothing to look forward to, until Wednesday...
 7PM--turns out the remodeling guys may have screwed up...at least that what Dianne says...But I'M the one who gets to break the news to them...I have NO IDEA how big a problem the mistake is...it may not be a problem at all...wouldn't that be nice...I didn't really get a nap, but I was able to "enjoy myself"...it wasn't easy...it wasn't worth it...
TUESDAY 9/24/19 8:30AM- I’m not sure when the guys are coming over this morning, but I think it will be within the hour…*I* think the guys screwed up...all they had to do was recreate what we had to start with..but they switched the drawer cabinets...Ultimately, and reluctantly, Dianne is gonna have to live with the mistake...allegedly, to correct the mistake would delay the Project for about three weeks...oh well...
   I can't wait until this Project is complete...being sequestered in the office is no longer the novelty it once was...we DO have the living room back...that has become mostly Dianne's after work domain...
10:30AM--jeez, it feels like 1:30 PM...I'm hoping the guys will be gone quite a bit before 3:30, I dunno if I can last that long...
12:37PM--it shouldn't matter, but I think the cabinet guys are Chumpsters...I think they were listening to Crush Limbaugh earlier...oh well...
1:26PM--the guys left about 30 minutes ago, so it's nap time...

      SATURDAY 9/21/19 9:30AM--after Lunch we're going to Lowe's to buy a new shower head...Dianne doesn't like the one we have now...I kinda do...oh well...I hope to get a nap after Lunch, but who knows? As for tonight, I dunno about that yet...and don't even ask about tomorrow...
      3:20PM--Dianne is going to the movies this evening; I think she's going because I'M probably going to Quincy's...not 100% sure that I am, but the chances are better than 50/50...
 4:15PM--there's a band playing at Rio I might go see...they start at 6PM, the other band doesn't start until 9:30...I hope to see both, at least a little...we'll see...
      I saw about an hour's worth of  FILM AT ELEVEN before I had a bladder emergency and had to leave...Going to Quincy's soon...
SUNDAY 9/22/19 12:45AM-- just got home from Quincy's...the band was just as good if not better than the band I heard in Rio...Dunno what's going on tomorrow...
 10:28AM--my time at Quincy's was spent in the company of Jeff Jones--and Iliana...she's more talented as a photographer than I am...and even though I had no intention of pursuing Iliana, it felt like Jeff did...married though she is...right or wrong, I felt abandoned...so I came home...and today I don't feel like doing a damn thing...
1:58PM--so I got an after Lunch nap, but I don't wanna be finished...on the other hand, I have what I think is a "you got too much sleep" kind of headache...hopefully the Tylenol will help with that...
 8PM--now I can't remember with any certainty, but I think I took another nap, and slept quite well...still feeling down...can't seem to get Angela outta my Mind, not completely sure what THAT'S all about...

          THURSDAY 9/19/19 7:53AM--the workmen will allegedly be here today after Lunch...we'll see...once they get here I'll be more or less trapped in the Office...I DO have my laptop and a TV up here..the food and drinks are downstairs though...It sounds terrible, but I hope at lest one of the workmen speaks English...
 8:32AM--the cleaning ladies should be here soon...maybe...
11:31AM--been and gone, but I FORGOT TO WASH THE RAGS!!! I suspect Maria was NOT happy...
12:32PM--two of the guys are here to start on the kitchen, and one's on the way...they could be gone before four o'clock or sooner...that would be nice...the loud noises haven't started yet...
         It actually makes me feel good to know now what I'm having for Dinner...I think Dianne's going out tonight, so I probably will to; I kinda feel like a prisoner...I don't actually think the worker guys have "sticky fingers", but you never know...one of the guys has seen the keyboard...I know I shouldn't be so paranoid...
  I think I'm gonna go lie down in Dianne's bed...I won't get any sleep, I'm just bored with watching TV and surfing the Web...
3:12PM- The two working guys are gone… The other guy is supposed to come and get the appliances; I have TIME to take a nap but I’m not going to bother... I thought there was a problem with the washing machine, but I was wrong thank goodness…  I put the rags in the dryer, but forgot to turn it on… That was a couple of hours ago but the dryer is running now...
FRIDAY  9/20/19 9:30AM--one guy (John) is here doing the kitchen stuff..,Dianne is OFF today, but she has taken over the Office...*I* am in HER bedroom...it's gonna be an innaresting day, that's for sure...I really wanna stay home this evening...
1:55PM--John says he'll be done by about 3:30...that's OK by me...
4:32PM--and he was...I don't think I got a nap, but I might have dozed off a bit, in Dianne's bed...this back and forth-ing is gonna get tedious, but that's the way it is for the foreseeable future...
 7:30PM--for better or worse the worker(s) have the weekend off...no big deal--I guess...the roomie is feeling down, I'm trying to find a way to cheer her up...I think she's going to see a movie by herself--Downton Abbey...my Plan is to go get her flowers while she's at Weight Watchers tomorrow morning...that might help, if only temporarily...
  10:05PM--I'm not really ready, but I think I'll be going to bed pretty soon...I'm a little tired, but more than a little bored...

        WEDNESDAY 9/18/19 7AM--it IS nice to have $800 in the Bank, and $19 dollars in my pocket from earlier...I don't think I need to buy anything except gas and groceries...planning on waiting until tomorrow to pay Dianne the monthly thing...or maybe I should just get it over with...we'll see...
8:17AM--went to the Bank, got gas...moved my laptop into the dining room...for how long? I have no idea...but it's working, a minor miracle IMO...
    8:25AM--dunno when the guys are coming to get started...I thought it was today, but I wouldn't swear to that...so far the only thing I don't like about being somewhat stuck in the dining room is that I miss the rocking chair we used to have...for all I know, it's still in the basement...once the work actually starts, I'll have to move upstairs...
10:27AM--I figure by one o'clock or so I'll be ready for a nap...and I hope it lasts more than one hour...in fact, I might not make it to one o'clock...I'm starting to think my nap will start as early as 12:30...I made it thru all 2 hours of the multi-part Ken Burns documentary COUNTRY MUSIC, but I'm having considerable trouble getting thru a one hour episode of STAR TREK...gonna have an early lunch and hit the sack before one o'clock...hoping to leave here for Davidsonville at about  six o'clock...
 12:19 PM--even including taking the dog for a walk, it's only 12:20...I think I'll likely be in bed by one one o'clock...
4:14PM--and I was, the nap lasted about an hour...oh well...now I'm wondering what to have for Dinner...

           FRIDAY 9/13/18 7:45 AM--money is unusually tight all of a sudden...I'm a bit worried, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed...still, it feels like Wednesday morning is far away...I was hoping Ray would throw a few bucks my way when I (separately) go sit in with him, but by then I likely won't need the money...
1:20PM--gonna go upstairs soon...dunno what if anything is gonna happen, if ya get my drift...I'm not optimistic...maybe that's part of the problem...
4:35PM--as I feared, nothing happened--INTENSELY frustrating...hot dogs for Dinner, I think...then I'll shower and shave and then Dianne and I are going to Hershey's...my first time there since that time I told myself I wouldn't be back...
6:45PM--Dianne has changed her Mind...I'm not too surprised...I was sittin' on the fence anyway...I’m only a teeny bit disappointed...I kinda wanted to hear the band...
  7:16PM-I think there’s a lot to do around here, before the kitchen remodeling starts...I think we’ll be working Saturday AND Sunday...we both need to take it easy tomorrow if we wanna go see Ray...
SATURDAY 9/14/19--did some work in the kitchen packing up...might be done for the day, Dianne wants to go to Unique, the dog is getting a bath, and then we'll come home, take naps and get ready to go see Ray...
 1:25PM--just got back from Unique AND bringing the dog back home...I hope to be napping in about an hour or so...

MONDAY 9/16/19 8:24PM--I think the new kitchen cabinets arrive sometime tomorrow morning...the room is about as ready as it's gonna get...I dunno when the actual construction is gonna start, or how long it's gonna take...

      THURSDAY 9/12/19 7:17 AM--one of my car's tail lights is out...that's a surprise, but a fairly easy fix...gonna leave the house at 9, run the errands, then come home and change the acoustic guitar strings...
8:50AM--I put the strings on first...and broke the high "E" string in the process...I was thinking I'd go to the Grape Escape open mic tonight to break 'em in so that by the time I sit in with Ray on Saturday night they won't be new anymore...
  So I have to go to Litz, in addition to Advance Auto Parts and Giant Food, and whatever I'm probably leaving out...I think I shoulda stayed in bed...
9:10 AM- leaving now to go run some errands…I’d like to be back by 11 AM if at all possible...
10PM-I’m at the Grape Escape sitting next to a girl whose photo hit me pretty hard quite awhile back-but I can’t even remember where/whysomewhat suddenly     I saw that photo...not at all...probably on Flakebook--possibly under "People You May Know".

it’s only gonna get worse/how did this happen?

   SUNDAY 9/8/19 8PM- this whole “misplacing things” problem is driving me fucking crazy… first, it was the piano chord book that I bought months ago; and then, it was my phone… Not a day goes by when this doesn’t happen-I misplace something and I can’t find it…I’ll look for the piano book tomorrow, or buy another one...
MONDAY 9/9/19 11:32AM--went to Pritchard's, bought another (different) piano chord book...made a fool of myself, which happens when I get hyper... never mind the details, for now at least...
TUESDAY 9/10/19 8:47AM--recovering from the physical rigors of band practice...Dianne is upstairs, working...I don't think I have any plans of any kind...the lawn needs a bit of mowing; I dunno when, but I wanna take a crack at it with the electric mower before it grows too high...a surprise for Dianne, perhaps...
WEDNESDAY 9/11/19 8:45AM--as far as I know there's nothing exciting going on until Saturday evening...after a day of  working in the kitchen, packing just about everything away to get ready for the remodeling to begin, we'll be going to Davidsonville...I HAVE to get a bit of a nap before Dinner, after which we'll be on our way...
 9:47AM--at least two people I have thought of as old friends are very different people now than they were back when we hung out...I barely recognize them...both of them have, er, uh, softened, for lack of a better word for it...this leads me to wonder--have *I* changed?
12:34PM--a busy morning IMO...I NEED a nap...I think it took nearly an hour to get a photo from my phone printed...as an 8x10 it doesn't look so good, which is what I was afraid would happen...
  7:52PM--I dunno what the fuck is going on with this technology but wrestling with it is killing me...luckily I have Xanax... I don’t know if it was legitimate or not but the  EZpass people say they need more money from me… I didn’t count on that; I absolutely have to go to the bank tomorrow morning when it opens and deposit $30 – it’s gonna be a close call, but I THINK I’ll be OK financially...IF Ray can help financially on Saturday that would be nice...if not, I’ll be ok...not great, but okay...

seems like a busy weekend to me

         FRIDAY 9/6/19 5:21PM--the G-town flea market is tomorrow at almost Dawn, and then after Lunch Dianne and I are going to a thrift store in Laurel...even if I want to go out Saturday night, I doubt that I'll have the energy to go anywhere...
         8:42PM--gonna stay up until no later than 11PM, whether I'm ready for bed or not...there is Melatonin around her somewhere...gonna set my alarm for 6:30AM...that's about when I wake up most days anyway...BTW, I was able, at nap time, to "please" myself a tiny bit...not at the level I hoped for though...I guess that's the way it's gonna be from now on... Angela was, as usual, the star of my fantasy...I haven't seen her since I hinted that I thought she had a nice ass...I wish now I could remember in detail  how that subject came up in conversation...I THINK we were looking at a photo someone had taken of her...She made the comment referring to the size of her posterior..I (gently?) disagreed with her...I probably scared her...haven't seen nor heard from her since...

   9:21AM--I put the shoestrings back into my left shoe--that's one less thing; I DO wanna find some white shoestrings that are shorter than 36 inches...but so far the only length I've found is longer than 36 inches...like 54" I think...
2:46PM--Dianne is on her way back home...I plan to go upstairs in about 15 minutes or so...

       WEDNESDAY 9/4/19 8 AM--started working on AT LAST, I think it will be easier than I first thought--IF I practice it often enough...Also starting on the FULL HOUSE Band open mic songs--Butch wants to play two of HIS songs...they aren't too tough...but between my Musical obligations and my non-musical obligations, I'm feeling a bit stressed...
11:24AM--went to CVS, got a pair of pix printed...went to Michaels to get picture hangers...framed and hung both of them...had to trim the white border from the 5x7, but I did it...*I* think it looks good...I'm enjoying the photography thing, but I need to start focusing on tonight's band practice...I probably should, but I DON'T yet know which songs we're gonna work on...that worries me a bit...
              THURSDAY 9/5/19 10:48AM--the girls haven't been here yet...and that bothers me...it's really gonna mess up my plans, loose though they may be...I hope to take a shower before I go to the Cardiologist's office...and I hope I won't be there more than an hour...I don't yet have any plans for tonight, although Pete is hosting the open mic at the Grape Escape...if I go, he'll likely make me do something...whether I want to or not...I'm not bringing a guitar, but that might not stop Pete from goading me into doing something--play Bass, sing harmony, whatever...

   9:49AM--I probably need to ease up on printing/framing my pix...I guess, like another photographer I know, Flickr will be the place where I display my work...Instagram too, maybe...
11:40AM--for the first time ever in my Life I didn't cut my lunchtime sandwiches in half--they were too small to cut IMO...they woulda looked like hors d'oeuvres...and I didn't warm 'em up either--I usually do...

          SUNDAY 9/1/19 5:48 PM--went to Staples to get a photo printed--they don't do that...they do just about anything else related to printing, just not pix...went to Rite Aid--their machine didn't like my phone...So I went to CVS...even there it was a bit of a Gov't Project...but it's done, and temporarily on display in the living room...
            10:26PM--I discovered a photo program on the laptop...I THINK I'm registered, and I think it's been installed on the laptop...although I changed my Mind about the whole thing...so I dunno if I can use it and I dunno HOW to use it...
11:01PM--I've decided to keep it, as long as it's free...I dunno if it's noticeably better than whatever editing I can do on Google or whatever other apps that I may have, on the laptop OR my phone...
11:25PM--got kinda wrapped up in what I was doing, forgot that I should be decompressing...so I'll work on that now...
MONDAY (Labor Day) 9/2/19 11:55 AM--still working on my photography...Three different people (two of whom I know) recommend Shutterfly...so maybe I'll try it...maybe...or not--maybe I don't really need it, I have no idea whether I actually need it or not...
5:55PM--making mac&cheese for Dinner, rather unusual for a Monday...trying to start decompressing even though it's only six o'clock...
9:52PM--didn't decompress much, if any...still in lost in Photo Land...gotta get back to being a Musician again, I think there's a rehearsal on Wednesday--the band formerly known as (among other things) the 4th Thursday Band...
             So my plan to join Lou at the Hershey's open mic on Wednesday may be kaput...oh well...
