another Month, another check

         WEDNESDAY 4/18/18--the SSA check came in overnight...I think I'm gonna hold off on getting the freon level checked...I think I'm gonna use that money to get the credit card bill down, if only a little...
         Had a slight problem overnight...it must have been something I ate, but I dunno for certain what...It may have been the cheese or bologna I bought from Safeway...
         The roomie says she's not going out tonight...then I likely won't be going out tonight either...I AM hoping Combustibles practice will be canceled, but it probably won't be...
         THURSDAY 4/19/18 11AM--the roomie's going out tonight, and I'm going to band rehearsal...I should be back home by 11:00...that is, unless practice gets cancelled...in which case, I might go to the OTWC--probably just to hang out...
                     The cleaning ladies are due today...I'm gonna go to the Library while they're here...LATER--they were here, and I DID go to the Library...despite the fact that Bruce won't be there, the Combustibles are still gonna practice...*I* dunno why...whether we're all there, or whether we practice or not, we're still gonna sound pretty crummy...I suppose if I hurry, I could be at the OTWC by 10:30, more or less...will probably try to accomplish that...

MIDNIGHT- I’ve had more fun here at the OTWC then I did at band practice--and I didn’t play a single note… I SANG a few though... now it’s 25 minutes later, and I’m getting ready to go home… I am rather hungry, so I’ll probably have a sandwich, wait a while and then go to bed…

FRIDAY 4/20/18 1AM--When I think about how much the Combustibles suck, I get depressed...we aren't as bad as the BBs Trib Band, but that's not saying much...

7:30AM--well, I told Lou I'd meet him in Damascus tomorrow at 1:30...the roomie won't be around, that's one reason why I'm going...but it looks like I won't be going to Bethesda on Sunday--I imagine I'll need Sunday to recover from Saturday...the plan for today is to get new strings for the acoustic...and maybe I'll do some laundry later...it's really rather sad--Lou and I are more fun for me than the Combustibles...Barry wants us to go to the OTWC open mic next week--I'm not at all looking forward to that...I DID tell someone that the Duo is pretty good, but the weak link in that situation is...Barry...

4:35PM--the acoustic has new strings on it...so I accomplished something today...I already told Dianne that I wasn't going out tonight; I hope I don't suddenly WANT to go out...
