    SATURDAY 9/26/2020 Noon--Dianne is making plans for us to go Ocean City on Thanksgiving weekend...*I* think she should make sure her new employer will be CLOSED the Friday after Thanksgiving...She is assuming they will be... 
SUNDAY 9/27/2020 5:30 PM--I'm taking a break from WEST WING binging...instead, I'm trying out a show called DESIGNATED SURVIVOR...I've only seen two episodes so far, but I like the show...In other news, Dianne's family had a Zoom meeting...I didn't wanna be a part of it and I wasn't...
7:13PM--I'M not going back to work tomorrow, why am *I* a bit nervous?
TUESDAY 9/29/2020 6:34PM--Got a doctor's bill today...if I have to pay it, I can afford it...for the first time that I can remember, I forgot to put the trash out...I'm gonna try to deliver it to the waste managment facility myself--as long as they're open...
9PM--I think I can make that delivery...

                   MONDAY 9/21/2020 11:50AM-I got my laptop back… And thanks to the roomie I have a new plan (I think) and all I have to do is cancel the old one… And they will refund some of the money I used to pay for the old one – at least I THINK that’s what happened this morning at Best Buy… by the way, she got a USB/CD player for her computer which doesn’t play CDs…
                      I don’t know for sure but I think I may have to sign back on to a lot of programs and apps that I was signed into before the computer broke down… and of course that means dealing with passwords – I HATE passwords...
           For about eight hours I was using Liker which is a bit of a Facebook clone except allegedly it’s better… I gave up on it after about eight hours...I don’t know how to load photos onto it except one at a time... at least I think that’s how you do it; like I say I gave up on it… When we get home from running these errands, I will have lunch and (hopefully) enjoy using my refurbished laptop… We’ll see...
      4:03PM--I'm ok technically...my laptop seems pretty fast now...As for the roomie, I think Best Buy sold her the wrong gizmo...*I* have a portable CD player, but naturally, I can't find it...VERY frustrating...
    4:35PM--I THINK Dianne solved her problem...
    5:32PM--tried a new web browser(?) but I didn't like it...that's what I get for being cocky...went back to Google Chrome...
     7:15PM--FB text is still a bit glitchy all of a sudden, but I'm ignoring it...
9PM-I tried to help the roomie with her tech problem...She was NOT pleased...So I undid what I had done... I didn’t need  a password to get into her laptop...I’m sure she’s gonna put one in place tomorrow if not sooner...
TUESDAY 9/22/2020 the laptop is still fun to use...I hope it will continue to be...8:11PM-I guess I spoke too soon...I’m having more than a little trouble wh iTunes...I have no idea why...VERY frustrating...
10:41PM--gave up on iTunes awhile ago...I dunno what to do...thinking about buy a new batch of (hopefully) blank CDs...gonna try CVS to see what, if anything, they have in the way of blank CDs...
WEDNESDAY 9/23/2020 9:43AM--have absolutely given up on my iTunes project...I can listen to the song on my laptop but not in my car, on a CD...I just put TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT on my PHONE, but apparently I can't FF to near the end where Randy hits that note...unfortunately, the phone thinks the song is 41 minutes long...it's FIVE minutes long...the laptop thinks it's 41 minutes long too...AND I seem to have more than just LIMIT--which was not my idea at all...UPDATE--I removed it from the phone...it's still in the laptop ...
10:35AM--the laptop is still faster than it was before the Geeks got ahold of it...I'm grateful for that...
11:48AM--when I got the laptop fixed, I was informed that I had to buy a new Protection Plan...a VERY long story short, I just called to cancel the old Plan, which doesn't run out until March of 2021...the money left on he old Plan will allegedly be applied to the new (more comprehensive?) Plan...I'll be getting e-mails and at some point my rebate will go into my Bank account...
      Maybe I shouldn't "say" it out loud, but it's a good day--so far...for which I'm grateful...
6:04PM--still a good day for me, but not so much for the roomie...a friend of Dianne's passed away and she just found out today...

back to normal?

 

          MONDAY 9/14/2020 11:20AM--things aren't looking up much at this point...Life is like that, I'm not surprised...I'm currently thinking about getting a new laptop in the not too distant future...although it might be cheaper to just put it in the shop...
      TUESDAY 9/15/2020 12:05PM--the calendar says it's Tuesday, but I'm not so sure...I can't find the many CDs I think I have and my phone is missing--AGAIN...so, it's doesn't FEEL like a good day...I can't wait to go take my nap...
  12:50PM--well, I found the phone, that's one less thing...
   7:37PM--I know it's early, but I just about always start thinking about going to bed about now...but first there's TV watching to do...
WEDNESDAY 12:21AM--I can't wait until the MoCo music scene is up and running again so I can NOT be a part of it...I'm not sure if I was before the pandemic, but I sure won't be if/when it ends...
THURSDAY 9/17 11:55AM--it's possible that I won't have to buy a new laptop after all...I'll drop it off at Best Buy on Saturday at 1PM and they'll work on it...I believe the Protection Plan is still in effect, so if all they do is THOROUGHLY clean out its' insides, I should be fine...keeping my fingers crossed...
FRIDAY 9/18/2020 11:12AM--just got back from the Doctor's office...it was quick, but not painless...found a re-useable (?) hard drive thingie which I think the guys at Best Buy can use to backup the Toshiba, which might save me a few bucks...
11PM--lately I've been more into doodling than making Music...suddenly a day or so ago, I got back into using 
 Virtual DJ...that could be considered playing Music...tomorrow after Lunch, I'm dropping off the laptop...I dunno when I'll get it back...*I* think it's gonna need MAJOR maintenance, whatever that means--MY phrase and *I* dunno what it means...but to put it simply, this machine is performing poorly...
SATURDAY 9/19/2020 8:52AM--just hanging around here til I go to Best Buy, after Lunch...doing laundry..
SUNDAY 9/20/2020- according to the message I got from Best Buy, the laptop is finished… I believe it will cost $60 to bring it back home… I will do that after I take a nap; the trip to Olney wore me out…

        THURSDAY 9/10/2020 11:20AM-I paid off the bill I got from Dr. Snow! As for the bill I got from Dr Lal, I was told to IGNORE it, unless I get another one...so for now that’s what I’ll do...I’ll save the Snoopy dancing for when I get back to Rockville...
    4:53PM--back in Rockville...too tired for Snoopy dancing though...
     8PM--Dianne got a new job!!! about three hours ago...it might only last 6 months, but at that point, she could get hired permanently...so yeah, things are looking up--for both of us...probably shoulda kept that to myself...
       I dunno what's going on tomorrow, but I don't mind having nothing to do...
    9:08PM--today's good news (mine and Dianne's) is getting me emotionally excited...I hope I don't have trouble sleeping...
FRIDAY 9/11/020-it’s still kinda early but it’s been a good day so far..
      5:30PM--still a pretty good day...but I've got a fair amount of work to do tomorrow before I go back to Gburg...
    9PM--back in the living room, leaving the "Man Cave" behind, likely for the rest of my stay here...watching the West Wing until about Midnight...
SATURDAY 9/12/2020 9:10AM--a change in plans, kinda...Linda says they'll be back by around 1PM, not 5PM...so I've got some work to do...MY plan is to be back in Gburg by Noon, in time for Lunch, if not sooner...
10:45AM--I'm back in Gburg, earlier than I thought I'd be, but I'm fine with that...in other news, I discovered that Angela has TWO Flakebook accounts...one as a Photographer and one as a Musician...One of the pages is way more up to date than the other one, and there are (seemingly) THOUSANDS of photos for me to look at...
12:32PM--I just found out her age--approximately...she's about TWENTY years younger than me, give or take...for SO many reasons, she and I will never be a couple...even IF the "roomie" didn't have a problem with me "seeing" other people, I'm not sure Angela and I are all that compatible...her being 20 years younger is perhaps the biggest part of that incompatiblity...and my inability to have a "physical" relationship with her is a HUGE bummer...
6:30PM--and now I know when her birthday is...

Not having fun

           MONDAY 9/7/2020 12:11PM-so Dianne  and I are in Leesburg at the outlet center… Getting here was rather difficult, because of the Google Map app...There’s no shops for me to go to… And there’s hardly any place to sit that isn’t outside in the Sun... We MIGHT be home by 4 o’clock...
      1:30PM--a slice of pizza for lunch...it was enough...
      2:07PM-by the Time we get back to Gburg  it will be time for me to leave for Rockville... No nap… And I don’t know how late I can stay up; there’s lots of good stuff on TV later this evening-maybe I might have to record some of the shows...
     7:05M--back in Rockville, went to Giant, got some more groceries..I never did get an afternoon nap, so I might not make it to Midnight, much less past it...
            TUESDAY 9/8/020 9AM--watching A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, after which I'll likely go to Gburg...I don't really want to, but I'm doing it for Dianne...
  5:38PM--back in Rockville...living room TV is VERY glitchy, dunno if Netflix is gonna be like that...I have a 
question for a doctor, my doctor I suppose...how can someone who, er, uh, can't get it up, have such a strong desire for a "physical relationship" with a woman? Specifically Angela...

I need the money

        SATURDAY 9/5/2020 11:31AM-so Dianne and I are at Unique... I didn’t see any books that I wanted, and besides I don’t really need anymore – in fact I don’t need any more of anything, except money… I have no idea when we’re going to get home or when we’re going to have lunch – or where for that matter...
        5:08PM I’m in Rockville...getting Netflix on The upstairs living room TV was a bit of a government project, but it got done… I really do want to bring my laptop back to here tomorrow…in the meantime, I guess I’m going to be watching The West Wing from now until 10 o’clock when I watch an episode of Star Trek before going to bed...it turns out there might be other stuff I wanna watch, and that’s ok...I guess it’s gonna be a long fucking week – I just spilled my dinner all over the carpet… I’m so fucking mad right now I think I could kill somebody or some thing…
       7:30PM-anything is libel to happen, but at this point in time I THINK I have a handle on the upstairs TV-that is, I can watch “regular” TV or I can watch Netflix...11:20PM-and to think this is only the first (of 7) days I’ll be in Rockville SUNDAY-I can’t wait until this “gig” is over with and I can go back to “normal” life...
  SUNDAY 9/6/2020 11AM--back in Gburg...gonna have iHop for brunch...went to Giant this morning and got another Mac&Cheese dinner (for tonight) and some carpet cleaner...I  guess it's gonna take several cleanings, but I've got all week...
  12:27PM--brunch was good enuff...in other news, I've been having trouble NOT thinking about Angela...I almost made a picture of her my iPhone lock screen...that would be a bad idea if Dianne ever saw it...but jeez, she's gorgeous and hot...oh well...
5:13PM--back in Rockville, with my laptop, which I think is connected to the WWW...If I wanna watch Star Trek, I have to go down to the man cave...no big deal...kinda nervous about having mac&cheese for Dinner, after what hapened yesterday...
6:16M--dinner was a success...maybe I shouldn't, but I miss being in Gburg...I don't like not knowing what's happening in the near future...
